Gamay

Gamay is a very old vine variety. It can be traced back to the 3rd Century in the Lyon area. In Valais, it appeared in the 19th Century when it went by the name of Grosse Dôle. It is now a red wine which is greatly appreciated by consumers and wine experts.

Taste : Very fruity, refined, light and pleasant

Ideal serving temperature : 14-16°C

Fermentation : Left to over ferment in vats
