Vintage 2005

Magnificent ripeness, remarkable acidity: the 2005 vintage is a synthesis of the qualities of the two harvests that preceded it. These harvests - small in quantity - do not belie the adage that years ending in 5 produce splendid wines. The harvest took place in exceptional conditions, under a magnificent autumn sunshine with very few clouds and very little rain. This vintage should be remembered for its balance between ripeness and acidity, a balance that guarantees a harvest of high quality.
