Vintage 2004


Ideal ripeness, excellent health, quantities in line with the ten-year average, control of Chasselas production and a clear increase in specialities: these are just some of the highlights of 2004. In terms of climate, the viticultural period can be described as favourable, as it was dry and fairly warm, with a particularly fine month of September. The phenological stages in the vine's development were regular, from bud-break to harvest, and with good control of yields, even the grape varieties with the highest quality requirements were able to be harvested under optimum conditions and at the perfect degree of ripeness.
