Made by marrying Merlot and Tempranillo, this wonderful red from the south has a lot of character. This highly recommended red is a wine cellar must have.
Vine variety : Merlot and Tempranillo
Colour : A deep purple-black
Fragrance : Coffee, smoky, earthy, undergrowth, leather, vanilla
Taste : Strong, full-bodied, fruity, warm, strong tannins, long after taste. Should be left to age for 2 to 3 years to allow it to reach its full potential.
Alcohol : 13,5 % vol.
Ideal serving temperature : 16-18°C in a carafe
Preservation : 5 to 10 years
Fermentation : Left to over ferment in barrels

Culinary accompaniments : Beef fillet, beef ribs, lamb, wild boar, game, tartar, meat fondue, cheese tray, lamb stew, braised red meat, stuffed quail and entrecote steak.
